Downhole Surveying

We provide Directional Downhole surveying services on sites of our clients during their drilling programs In non-magnetic ground, an electronic multishot is utilised surveying every 5m to produce high quality spatial positioning of the drill hole. If downhole magnetics are suspected a Gyro is utilised.

Topographical Surveying

At Trana-Tek land surveyors carry out surveys for large and small developments, from topographic surveys of Greenfield sites using GPS and relating the survey data to Ordnance Survey to carrying out internal building surveys of residential properties for refurbishment.

Engineering Surveying

Construction is one of the largest industries in the world and Surveying has always played an important role in any construction project. Trana-Tek delivers key functions to the building process and supports engineering projects from the initial earth works to final completion. The key functions for our construction surveyors is the establishment of accurate Primary Survey Control, reliable Setting Out, factual As-Built information and producing clear legible AutoCAD drawings.

Mine Surveying

Trana-Tek provide clients in the mining industry with a complete set of surveying services tailored for all project stages including geological exploration, modeling, design, top soil stripping, drilling, blasting, pre-strip activities, dragline operations, and rehabilitation. We employ effective and innovative surveying technology in addition to our proven surveying experience to ensure the success and proper management any open-cut or underground mining project.

Hydrological Surveying

Trana-Tek uses GPS and total stations in primarily marine construction projects. Previous surveys have employed these systems in conjunction with sonar to produce sub-surface profiling.
